Bank-Grade Security: DFNS uses advanced encryption and multi-party computation (MPC) technology to protect private keys.
Non-Custodial Model: Your passkeys and wallet data are never stored in a way that DevTools or DFNS staff can access. You—and only you—control your funds.
Scalable and Reliable: DFNS supports a variety of blockchains and can handle high-volume transaction loads without compromising on security.
User-Owned Passkeys: When you create an account, you generate a passkey that’s unique to your device. This passkey is required to authorize transactions, ensuring no one can move your funds without your explicit approval.
No Centralized Storage: DevTools doesn’t hold onto private keys or seed phrases. That means even if our infrastructure were compromised, your funds remain secure.
Secure Recovery Process: You receive a Recovery Key Secret and a Recovery Credential ID when creating your passkey. These credentials are the only way to restore access to your wallets if you lose your device.
Encryption at Every Step All communication between DevTools, DFNS, and your device is encrypted. Your passkey details never travel in plain text.
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) By linking your account to Google, Telegram, or email, you add an extra layer of protection.
Regular Security Audits DevTools and DFNS undergo periodic security assessments to maintain high standards and address any emerging threats quickly.
Back Up Your Recovery Credentials: Treat your Recovery Key Secret and Recovery Credential ID like seed phrases. Store them in a secure location—preferably offline.
Use Strong Passwords: Whether you log in via email or a third-party provider, ensure your password is robust and unique.
Avoid Phishing Scams: Never share your passkey, recovery credentials, or login details with anyone. DevTools support will never ask for your confidential information.

What if I lose my passkey device?
You can recover your passkey on a new device using your Recovery Key Secret and Recovery Credential ID.
Do I have to pay extra for DFNS’s security?
No. DFNS’s security is integrated into DevTools at no additional cost to you.
How often should I update my credentials?
As a non-custodial service, there’s no requirement to “rotate” passkeys, but always keep your recovery details updated and secure.
